A customer’s violent meltdown against a cashier at a Sydney McDonald’s restaurant has been captured on camera.
The alarming TikTok video shows the man “losing it” at a Macca team member on the evening of October 31 during Halloween festivities.

On the footage, the customer can be seen throwing out abuse against the McDonald’s worker.
He then hits the plexiglass tabletop screen several times while continuing to shout.
One last blow causes the plexiglass to fly up into the air and is barely missing two McDonald’s cashiers behind the counter.
It has been claimed that the man became aggressive after being asked to wear a mask, which is mandatory in Sydney.
TikTok user Its_Jasons_G captured the match on camera, adding hashtags #halloween, #bigfight, #macdonalds and #Sydney.
A spokesman for McDonald’s Australia has told 7NEWS.com.au that violence against team members is “not tolerated”.
“At McDonald’s, the health and safety of our people and customers is our top priority,” the spokesman said.

“We will always do our best for our customers, but we do not accept abuse, intimidation, threats or violence against our employees.”
