Toronto police are looking for suspects who fired a gun into the air from Queen West Terrace

Whether it’s to start an underground street race, scare people around you or celebrate a big gambling victory like Senator Shady Bird Johnson, experts agree that no one should ever, ever, ever fire a gun into the air. Ever.

Your stray bullet can kill or seriously injure someone, most importantly, as well as scare entire blocks of people and land you in a boatload of trouble with the police.

Toronto police are currently looking for a person in a related case as part of an investigation into “firearm discharges” stemming from late-night fighting in Queen West.

“On Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 2:50 a.m., police responded to a sound of gunfire at a business in Queen Street West and the Portland Street area,” reads a press release issued by police Wednesday.

No exact location was given for the establishment, although it is reasonable that it was a bar or restaurant as it had an outdoor terrace.

“It’s reported that a fight broke out on the establishment’s terrace,” police said, and that “a man, dressed in red, waved a firearm and fired several shots into the air during the fight.”

No one was injured as a result of the shooting, but things could have ended differently if someone had been standing where the bullet fell.

Investigators are now seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who, according to security photos, is very similar to Drake, but is not.

The man is described as 6’2 “, with a muscular build, tattoos on his left arm and dark facial hair. He was wearing a red shirt, a red baseball hat, black pants, black shoes and a Louis Vuitton bag at the time of the incident.
