Trafford Center’s outdoor Christmas attraction, Tinsel Town, is officially open – and home to the UK’s longest toboggan slide.

Tinsel Town is open from now until January 3rd and offers lots of exciting things to do and see.

In addition to the toboggan run, ‘Winter Wonderland of the North’ offers a huge covered ice rink in collaboration with Hits Radio, a spectacular skating show in a heated big top, a big wheel, the world’s largest mobile bungee and over 20 festive rides, street food and Santa Claus himself .

Families will be able to meet Santa Claus in a magically flashing teepee and take part in his elves’ Christmas carol, as well as receive a special gift and have their picture taken with the big man himself.

Afterwards, take a seat in the huge hangar and enjoy seasonal delights from traditional Bavarian huts or independent street food vendors, including Oh My Glaze, Old School Dogs, The Thai Food Van, Epic Pizza, Kingdom of Sweets and Bouji Baker.

Do not miss ‘Snowstorm’, a 90-minute spectacular production live from the heated theater-big top with an international cast of skaters and incredible circus performers on 600 square feet of sparkling real ice.

Zoe Inman, Center Director, said: “Tinsel Town is truly the Nordic region’s own Winter Wonderland; an experience you will not want to miss this Christmas! Combine your visit with late night shopping, festive events in shops like Selfridges and John Lewis, festive music in the malls and, of course, our spectacular Christmas lights. ”

Tinsel Town is located outside the Orient, opposite the entrance to The Great Hall.
