ACT has reported eight new cases of COVID-19 over the course of 24 hours until 8pm Thursday. Authorities have not updated the number of people at the hospital. There are 175 active cases in the community. 1715 negative tests were received within 24 hours to 6 p.m. 9 on Friday after 3817 negative tests were reported on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the percentage of the eligible population now fully vaccinated has reached 97.6 percent. NSW has registered 261 new COVID-19 cases and one death within 24 hours to Thursday at. There are 185 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, of which 27 are in the intensive care unit. Victoria has registered 1362 new COVID-19 cases, the highest daily number of infections reported since 1 November. There were seven deaths in the state. The new infections bring the number of active cases in the state to 10,887, including 308 in the hospital. There are 46 people on intensive care, while a further 53 have been cleared of the virus and 26 are on a respirator.
