A teenager was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing in the eastern end of Toronto on Thursday night, officials say.
Emergency crews were called to the area at Gerrard Street East and Pickering Street, west of Victoria Park Avenue, around noon. 17.15
Toronto police said officers found a young male victim with serious injuries, adding that he was taken to the hospital via an emergency vehicle.
Paramedics from Toronto told Global News that they were transporting the teenage victim to a trauma center.
Additional information about the incident was not immediately available.
Police say an investigation is underway.
