Dan Bongino, host of Fox News’ ‘Unfiltred’, said on Saturday that President Biden was “replicating what he himself called racist” by implementing a “travel ban” on eight African countries as the omicron coronavirus variant spread.

That White House moved Friday to implement travel restrictions regarding South Africa and seven other countries in the region, with some exceptions. The changes begin on Monday.

“There are so many layers in this. Here’s the easy, kind of superficial one: Joe Biden is a cheater. Okay, great, we already knew that,” Bongino began on “Fox & Friends” Saturday morning. “But here’s the deeper layer of this: the Democratic Party is the greatest grief in the history of mankind. There has never been a greater donor fraud, collectively, in the history of mankind than the Democratic Party.”

BACKWARD: BIDEN PROPOSED TRUMP’S CORONAVIRUS TRAVEL PROHIBITION WAS ‘STRENGTH’

“Trump issued an entry ban from some of the same countries when he was there [were] a lot of strangers and they thought it might have worked. Now, a year and a half later, we already know that these travel bans … have done nothing to stop the Delta, they have done nothing to stop any other variant out there, “he said, adding that Biden” replicates what he even called racist “by implementing its own travel restrictions from certain countries.

Trump in early 2020, when COVID-19 began to spread around the world, restricted travel from China and six other countries, including Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, Nigeria, Sudan and Tanzania.

Trump’s initial travel restrictions, issued in 2017, set new criteria for visa applicants and refugees from six predominantly Muslim countries due to concerns that persons coming from these countries could not be properly investigated.

“We’re in the middle of a coronavirus crisis,” Biden tweeted as a presidential candidate last year the day after Trump imposed travel restrictions from China to the United States. “We need to be at the forefront of science – not Donald Trump’s record of hysteria, xenophobia and fear-manger. He is the worst imaginable person to lead our country through a global health emergency.”

Biden also referred to Trump’s temporary immigration ban from certain African countries as a “disgrace. “

Bid later tried to go back from the xenophobic comment and claimed during a debate that he made a broad point about xenophobia and did not directly refer to the entry ban.

“A wall will not stop coronavirus,” Biden tweeted in March 2020. “Banning all travel from Europe – or any other part of the world – will not stop it. This disease can affect any nation and any person on the planet – and we have need a plan to combat it. “

In addition to the United States, the EU, the United Kingdom and Israel stopped flights to southern Africa in response to the new variant.
