A man was taken to hospital after being shot several times in a shooting in Roncesvalles in Toronto late Friday night, Toronto police said.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at Dundas Street West and Roncesvalles for reports of gunfire around 6 p.m. 23.45
Officers arrived at the scene and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition, police said.
Investigators said witnesses reported that a white SUV fled the scene and that the gunshots came from its vicinity.
