The Vernon RCMP is investigating an assault with a weapon Saturday night in the center.
Around 6:30 p.m., police responded to reports of a man with stab wounds entering a location on the 2600 block of 27th Avenue, Art said. Chris Terleski.
The 38-year-old victim was taken to hospital by ambulance to treat serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

“While the investigation is in its early stages, police believe it is a deliberate act and there is no risk to the public.”
