VANCOUVER, BC: Monday 29 Nov. Metro Vancouver can get a short respite from the rain today. Monday’s weather will be mainly cloudy with a 60 percent chance of showers, Environment and Climate Change Canada said. The temperatures are eerily high. At Vancouver International Airport it will be a maximum of 12 C and a minimum of 9 C. Rain is expected to start overnight.

The Danish Weather Agency has issued a special weather declaration warning of a third atmospheric river that brings prolonged heavy rain from Tuesday to Wednesday. Heavy rain is expected over Metro Vancouver, Howe Sound, Whistler and Sunshine Coast Tuesday morning before spreading to Fraser Valley Tuesday night. The region can get 50 to 100 mm of rain.
