Chris Brown joined Wizkid for his O2 show this week, which shocked social media users when they thought the singer was banned from the country.
Singer Chris Brown has not spent much time in the UK recently and it’s not because he does not like the rain. He was actually banned from entering over 10 years ago and he has not been back until last year.
Fast forward to 2021, the rapper appeared alongside Wizkid for the latter’s concert at the O2 Arena in London on Sunday 28 November.

Chris Brown was banned from entering the UK in 2010 after he was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 in a car after a Grammy party.
As reported by the BBC, Chris Brown’s visa was rejected after he tried to enter the country in 2010. The singer was banned from entering the UK after committing a serious criminal offense and was sentenced to a community service order, which the reason for his ban.
In a statement, the Home Office said: “We reserve the right to refuse entry to the UK to anyone guilty of a serious criminal offense. Public safety is one of our primary concerns.”

Chris Brown was spotted in London in 2020
Chris Brown was reportedly seen in London last year and everyone went crazy on social media.
ONE video had gone viral at the time, allegedly showing the singer sitting in the Mayfair restaurant Novikov. The original video was posted on Instagram Stories by a user called @the_krakengemini, who wrote it: “You reached London.”
Chris also uploaded a photo to Instagram where he showed himself reunited with on-off girlfriend Ammika Harris and their son Aeko. The singer did not reveal her location, but many eagle-eyed fans claim the bench is in London’s Victoria.
Has the ban been lifted?
After Chris Brown was seen in London in 2020, many fans have wondered if his ban has been lifted.
Although the singer has not revealed such information, it is believed that he completed his probationary period in 2015, and it is over 10 years since Chris Brown’s visa was denied.
The singer would not have been able to enter the country without a valid visa, so it certainly seems likely that his ban has been lifted.
