Zhong Yi Optics has announced the Mitakon Speedmaster 90mm f / 1.5, which is available in the Leica M, Canon RF, Sony FE and Nikon Z mount. The Leica M mounting version of the lens can also autofocus with third-party adapters.

The Speedmaster 90mm f / 1.5 is designed as a ‘budget’ alternative to the Leica Summilux-M 90mm f / 1.5, which costs a full $ 13,695 USD.

the optical design of the lens consists of 9 elements in 6 groups as well as two elements with extra low scatter that are claimed to reduce color edges and chromatic aberrations.

For Nikon Z and Sony users, there are a couple of automatic adapters that allow Leica M-mount manual lenses to autofocus. Both Megadap MTZ11 and Techart TZM-01 / LM-EA7 are supported. Adapters can support AF-S, AF-C, AF-F and face / eye recognition with IBIS.
