Jimmy Crute after his loss to Jamahal Hill.
Australian UFC light heavyweight Jimmy Crute was the unlucky victim of a knockout in the first round when he returned to the octagon.
Favored in his matchup against American Jamahal Hill, Crute was hit with an early right but appeared to stabilize before succumbing to the exact same shot about 20 seconds later and finishing the contest in less than a minute.
“He got him right away shot again,” Daniel Cormier said in a comment.

Hill’s nickname is ‘Sweet Dreams’ and he more than lived up to it as the referee quickly stepped in to save Crute from further injury.
“Everyone who chose me to lose weight, everyone just doubts me – I do not know why, what do you see?” said Hill afterwards.
He was full of praise for his fallen opponent.
“Jimmy is a tough guy, he’s incredibly talented.”
A hectic shower of blows leads to the UFC TKO
It is the second loss in a row for the Bendigo native, who fell short against former title challenger Anthony Smith in his last match.
Earlier on the map, Manel Kape defeated Zhalgas Zhumagulov via TKO after an unstoppable shower of blows.
“Left, right, sit down my friend,” Michael Bisping said in a comment.
“Look at this combination here, look at the wildness, the speed … you can only take so many.”
