Quinte West OPP is investigating the theft of $ 200,000 worth of butter from a trucking facility in Trenton.

Four people broke into the Glen Miller Road complex late Christmas Eve after being dropped off near a person driving a black SUV.

The suspects put two trailers, each loaded with about 20,000 kg of butter, into two transport vehicles and drove off.

The transports and trailers were placed Monday, one in Etobicoke, the other in Toronto, with their contents emptied.
