Greggs creates 18 new jobs with Old Broad Street store opening

Greggs has opened a new store today on Old Broad Street, London, creating 18 new jobs for the area.

The store, one of 100 that Greggs will open in 2021, will have freshly made Greggs favorites in stock, including its popular sausage roll, steak cake and items from the new Christmas menu.

Delicious freshly made sandwiches, dishes and sweets will also be available for those who want to get a bite on the go.

Customers will be able to take advantage of Greggs’ offerings throughout the day, including its famous breakfast combinations, which offer a breakfast roll or baguette along with an orange juice or hot beverage – served until 6 p.m. 11.00 every day.

Greggs’ velvety flat white and warming peppermint tea is among the hot drinks offered in the new store, all of which are 100% Fairtrade.

Customers will be able to place click-and-collect orders via the Greggs app.

A spokesman for Greggs said: “We can not wait to welcome both Greggs fans and new customers to our brand new store. We have a fantastic selection of tasty pastries, hot drinks, sweets and dishes available for takeaway or clicks and picked up. ”

Roisin Currie, Greggs’ retail and human resources director, said: “Our new store on Old Broad Street has brought 18 new jobs to the local area, as well as giving customers a modern, convenient new place to experience their favorite Greggs food.”

The Old Broad Street store opens with a fresh new look and comfortable seating. The location also includes a Nuttall unit so customers can buy some of Gregg’s favorite hot items such as southern fried chicken goujons and potato boats.

Any additional jobs created in the Old Broad Street Store will be posted on
