Here are some low-engagement ideas at the last minute til this holiday weekend. If you’re still looking for NYE plans, there’s one list of parties, a list of several subdued eventsand a list of restaurant festivities.

For this week “What’s on our radar?” we highlight Outdoor NEW parties.

Note that the ongoing public health crisis has resulted in many personal events being canceled or changed to a virtual format.

What’s on our radar:Outside NYE parties’

Below is a list of some restaurants and bars hosting outdoor NYE events:

  • metrobar will host one Midnight train for New Year’s party in their outdoor beer garden, which will be ‘decorated with campfire sites, patio heaters, a heated tent and deck heat lamps.’ For an entrance fee of $ 10, you get two glasses of bubbly – one of which is a midnight toast. Proof of vaccination is required to enter.
  • Midlands Beer Gardens will host a free combined Michigan Football Playoffs sees party and NYE party in their outdoor beer garden. According to the Midlands, all of their staff were tested earlier last week in preparation for the event.
  • Atlas Brew Works will have their taprooms garage doors open and patio seating available on their Foamy New Year’s party. With tickets for $ 70, the four-hour party includes bottomless drafts and select wines and cocktails.
  • Wonder garden will be ‘Celebrating NEW around the world‘starts with Germany at 18.00 in their outdoor beer garden! The event is free and by midnight they will have their own special ‘Wunder Garten ball drop’.
