Live Updates: Fatal Wolverhampton House Fire Demands Man’s Life

A man has died after a house fire in Low Hill, Wolverhampton.

He had been rescued from a property on Dickens Road by firefighters from the West Midlands Fire Service, but sadly died on the spot.

West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed they were called to the area at 1.15 this morning (December 30).

Two paramedics and the Trust’s Hazardous Area Response Team were dispatched to the scene.

A spokesman for the West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “Upon arrival, the crew discovered a patient, a man who had been rescued from the property by the fire department.

“Unfortunately, it quickly became clear that nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead on the spot.”
