A pregnant newlywed who was allegedly murdered in Edinburgh by her husband on their honeymoon was ‘a beautiful soul’.
Tragically, Fawziyah Javed, 31, fell to his death from Arthur’s Seat in September was a dedicated charity worker.
The Daily Record reports that her family, who have already donated to many good causes after her death, have set up a fundraising page in her memory.

Fawziyah died in the Scottish capital around 9pm on Thursday 2 September and her husband, Kashif Anwar, 27, has been charged with murder.
Now, three months after her death, her mother Yasmin Javed has spoken about the void left by her only child’s death in her family’s life, reinforced by the knowledge that she was pregnant with her first child, a little boy, when she became born. passed.
Mrs Javed said she and her husband Mohammed have “not lived, just existed” for the past three months and she “feels like I’m stuck in a nightmare I’ll never wake up from.
But now, during the Christmas period, they want to continue their daughter’s legacy as a passionate, caring charity volunteer by making a series of donations in Fawziyah’s honor.

Fawziyah worked as a lawyer after graduating from the University of Sheffield and spent much of his free time supporting a wide range of charities, including the InTouch Foundation, Mosaic, Penny Appeal and the Citizens Advice Bureau.
Her mother Yasmin said: “All day I have been crying until my tears have run dry, we are ruined, our world is broken.
“She was our only child and she was also pregnant with her first child at the time.
“Losing a child under any circumstances would be painful, but when it’s your only child and your unborn first grandchild too, I have no words to describe my pain. We never ever get over this.
“The light is away from our lives, we exist just now, there is no quality of life for us.
“There is a massive void in our lives and we are traumatized without her, the whole family and her friends. This has shaken our community.”
To continue her legacy, the family has made donations to St George’s Crypt in Leeds, Edinburgh’s Children’s Hospital and Social Bite, a Scottish homelessness organization. Other family members have also donated to other organizations anonymously.
“This week we have made some donations in her name to charities here and in Edinburgh.
“She was a very caring person, she cared about other people and wanted to make a difference.
“Helping people gave her so much satisfaction, she was so passionate about it. She was a selfless person who carried her heart on her sleeve, she was very kind and considerate.
“She was so loving and generous, she was always there for her friends. They could call her anytime day or night and she was their shoulder to cry on, she was a really wonderful person, without a bad bone in her body . “
The family has also created a GoFundMe donation page to continue Fawziyah’s legacy.
It reads: “Hello Our family is deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Fawziyah.
“Many of you have approached us to set up a fundraising site to ensure that Fawziyah’s legacy continues in an organized way for charity.
“We have created this site to raise money in memory of our beloved Fawziyah to support the homeless, orphans, the poor and needy around the world.
“Fawziyah was very passionate about helping people who were less fortunate, vulnerable and needy.
“Fawziyah volunteered for many charities and spent much of his time helping others. She will be remembered for her kind nature, compassion for helping others, for being selfless and extremely caring.
“Even as an only child and pregnant with his first child. Fawziyah was perfect in every way. A beautiful soul who had given so much to others and would have continued to do so.
“Her young life was interrupted on 2 September 2021 when she was killed at Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh.
