Two men brought to hospital after a light aircraft crashed into a hangar at Goolwa Airport

Two men have been taken to hospital after their light aircraft crashed into a hangar in the South Australian coastal town of Goolwa.

The plane was about to land at Goolwa Airport, an hour’s drive south of Adelaide, when it ended up crashing into the side of the hangar around 11am today.

Authorities said there were two men on board, one in his 60s and one in his 30s.

The man in his 30s was driven to the hospital with a laceration in his foot, while the man in his 60s suffered head and stomach injuries and was flown to Flinders Medical Center in a serious but stable condition.
