The body of a missing Rockdale man has been found in the eastern part of Sydney.
Peter Bradbury, 87, was reported missing after leaving a nursing home in Rockdale around 6 p.m. 13.00 on 21 December.
His body was found in Centennial Park on December 30.
Preliminary investigations suggest the man’s death is not suspicious.
A report will now be prepared for the information of the forensic pathologist.
St George Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man who was reported missing.
He disappeared from Rockdale on December 21st.
Peter Bradbury, 87, was last seen outside a nursing home on Frederick Street around 6 p.m.
When he failed to return to the facility, he was reported missing.
It is believed that he visited a Bondi mall and left via the Bronte Road exit in the direction of Spring Street, Bondi Junction, around noon. 21.10 same night.
Police are seriously concerned about Peter’s welfare because of his age. He has several medical conditions that require medication.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 178 cm tall, thin build, with short gray hair, gray beard and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black, gray, white and red jacket with a zipper, black pants and shiny black shoes, and he was wearing a green recyclable Woolworths bag.
