Downtown Vernon businesses broken into during vacation – Vernon News

It was not a particularly happy holiday season for these Vernon businesses.

Thieves went on a criminal trip downtown, and even broke into a business twice.

The Pink Spotted Goat on 29th Avenue was broken into on December 22nd.

According to a post on their Facebook page, “whoever did this knew exactly what they wanted and I would bet they had been to the store before.”

‚ÄúSpecific items were taken and we have some videos so it looks like it was a smash and grab. It is clear that there was someone who pays tribute to the place and brings their Christmas shopping list, “the store wrote.

“These items are unique, like 95 percent of everything in the store. Stealing from this store is just the lowest of downturns.”

Pictures of some of the stolen items have been posted on the store’s Facebook page.

“We just want them back. Someone out there has them, or knows who has them.”

On December 28, Raven Hair Studio on 30th Avenue was broken into twice on the same night.

“Long enough to circle around the center, make a police report and crawl back into bed before the alarm went off again,” said a post on their Facebook page. The first burglary happened at. 02.00

Among the stolen items were Sutra brushes, irons, Ellebaba mascara, color-safe gift packages, Joico products and other items.

“They also stole the gifts we had for the donation raffle for our toy drive,” wrote Raven Hair Studio.

According to the record, there was minimal damage to the store, but “police say nothing is likely to happen if they catch them.”

The Raven is up and running, but the Pink Spotted Goat remains temporarily closed.
