“High end RPG” remake for PS5 comes from Mutan Insight

Developer Mutan Insight is hiring for a PS5 remake of a role-playing game, according to a job posting.

As noted by Gematsu, the job posting seeks multiple roles for an undisclosed project. NMEs the translation reads some relevant details as such:

“Project overview

  • High-end RPG for PS5 (re-recording, title not stated)
  • Development using game engines such as Unreal Engine 5 “

While the RPG being remade is still up for questioning, the use of more engines is highlighted. Further down in the job posting, it is noted that cutscene experience for both Unreal Engine 4 and Unity is required and that motion capture experience is also required (for the 3D motion designer job).
