ACT Policing has released a picture of a man who was allegedly involved in an assault in Exhibition Park on Saturday and is seeking public help to identify him. The photos show the man at EPIC Mitchell around the time of the alleged assault. Around 10.30am, an 18-year-old man was assaulted on the north side of the grandstand when he saw the Summer Night’s burnout competition, police said. Police claim that the 18-year-old was hit in the face after a brief altercation with another man unknown to him. He had to undergo surgery on his jaw as a result of the alleged assault. READ MORE The man who was allegedly involved in the assault is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 170 cm tall, slender in build, dark hair shaved on the sides, tattoos on arms and neck, wearing light shorts, white T-shirt and thongs. Police believe a large number of people witnessed the incident, and are asking anyone who did and who have not yet spoken to police to report.
