What have we done?
Kirby and the Forgotten Land got a release date that everyone was gagging for, as well as a new trailer showing Kirby’s new abilities and the ability to play the game co-op with a friend. It seems to be a great addition to Kirby series, and the hype is genuine. However, the new game has introduced something much dangerous.
As reported by Ian, they gave Kirby a gun. These sick freaks gave one of the most unconsciously powerful creatures found in video games a gun. Are they not scared? Do they not fear the consequences of their actions? Could they not have seen this coming?
I, for one of many, saw it coming. Three years ago.
Back in my JB Hi-Fi days, I was contacted by my colleague to draw a poster for the new one Resident Evil 2 games are coming out. Have never played one Resident Evil played before, I figured I would play to my strengths and draw Kirby instead.
for some reason I was allowed to draw a poster for resident evil 2 at work, so here it is pic.twitter.com/3S61ajcVCM

Although this was a silly moment for me, it clearly sent a message to the HAL Laboratory, and that message was “Throw a fucking glock into the tip of the foaming ball”.
Of course I’m just kidding. Kirby with a gun has been a long-standing meme that I simply took part in, and there are pictures that are far better than mine. Take this absolutely beautiful from the artist Tessa Schreiter, e.g.
And another amazing one, this time from the artist Xandra.
The internet is a big, beautiful and awful place. The beauty of it is that it is filled to the brim with pictures of the round boy holding the MF’ing spanking on him. When I say that, I’m cheering that we’ve finally got what we wanted. On the other hand to quote Jurassic Park:
“Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether they could or not that they did not stop to think whether they should.”
Kirby and the Forgotten Land are launched on March 25, 2022.
