One person has died after falling through the ice in Prince Edward County.
Shortly before 4pm on Friday 14 January, the OPP in Prince Edward County responded to a call about a missing person who may have been walking their dog on the ice.

A search found that the person died in the water.
OPP reminds people while the ice can look tempting for ice fishing, ice skating, walking or other activities. Please do not rely on ice. Temperatures have been erratic this winter and much of the ice is not thick enough to safely support people. Do not risk your own life and the lives of first aiders.
