A 31-year-old man received gunshot wounds after he was attacked in Glasgow’s Baillieston area just after midnight on Friday.

Detectives yesterday tried to determine if the two incidents are connected.

A source said: “Attacks like this obviously do not happen by accident.

“The officers working on this investigation will do everything they can to catch those responsible.

“They will not rule anything out unless they are 100 percent.”

Shocked neighbors told that the shot victim stumbled down the street and knocked on a neighbor’s door for help.

He was taken to Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital before being transferred to the city’s Royal Infirmary, where he will be treated.
