Washington

Washington presents Insomnia promised to be one of the many standouts from this year’s Sydney Festival, and it lived up to its high expectations last night at ‘Speakers Corner’ near Hyde Park.

In an evening with periodic showers, we luckily avoided most of the bad weather. With Jack Moffitt (ex Preatures) and gab storm (Japanese Wallpaper), which makes up her band along with a string quartet, the songs from Insomnia sounded just as fresh as they did ten years ago. Supplemented with tracks from I think you’re lying and latest album, Bat Flowers, it was a unique evening in the city and a welcome return from Sydney to Washington.

Bruce was there to bring you these pictures.
