In yet another example of some of the horrors that many face in today’s online dating scene, a woman has shared the ‘disgusting’ body-shaming message she received from a man she matched up on Tinder.
“Thank you Mikey,” TikTok user Em subtitles a video that shares the screenshots of the conversation online, where it quickly went viral with over 3.7 million views.
“Hi honey. Put that cupcake from you and sprint to my house,” the man, Mikey, begins the exchange.
“You look like you’re storing cupcakes on your nightstand,” he continues.
A little shocked, Em replies: “F *** is what should mean lmao”.
To which Mikey brutally responds: “That means you’re slightly overweight.”
The clip was flooded with thousands of reactions and most people could not believe the message they were reading.
“I can not believe there are such people … Girl you are really beautiful!” one person commented.
“THAT’S HOW MY JAW JUST HAS BEEN RELEASED. ARE LIKE MEN GOING OK?!?” wrote another shocked user.
“I’m done with men at this point,” was another reply, while a fourth said, “It’s disgusting.”
It comes after another woman shared a shocking discovery on TikTok after asking a date to leave her house.
TikToker Lulu shared the story to her account @ notsimpqueen7, explaining that her Hinge date had used two of her ‘favorite’ lipsticks to write on her toilet seat, adding that she had “bad vibes”, and joked in the caption that her “weirdo radar was spot on”.
“Kicked a hinged date out within 15 minutes of meeting him because of bad vibes, and he asked to use the bathroom before going,” she wrote on the video.
The clip shows red writing on the underside of her toilet seat with the word ‘RUN’ written in capital letters.
“Did he also write his phone number on the seat ??”
