Ralf Rangnick is known for shaping the careers of young talents and it is clear that Anthony Elanga is one who has spotted the temporary Manchester United boss.
Elanga has impressed the German – starting with their last two Premier League matches.
The 19-year-old rewarded his manager’s faith in him by scoring the opening goal in their 3-1 win at Brentford on Wednesday night with an excellent finish.

Rangnick is a fan of the 19-year-old – after studying clips of him on YouTube before his arrival
Prior to his appointment in December, Rangnick has revealed that he saw footage of Elanga on YouTube and knew right away that he had a player on his hands.
“I have to say from the very first day from my first training session, he showed up,” Rangnick said after the game on Wednesday.
“I had heard his name before and I was in my hotel room and watching videos of him on YouTube, I thought this boy was really good.”
With further praise for the Swedish national team player, Rangnick said that he even stopped the teenager from lending – that was the impression he had made.
‘He was almost on his way out on loan. I said to him, “You do not want to go out on loan, you stay here.” He has developed in training, ‘he continued.
Elanga was close to leaving United on loan this month before Rangnick put an end to it
