The royals have different lives than the average Brit in many ways, but they are still British. Just like the rest of us, they pop to the pub for a pint and a bite to eat on occasion. In particular, Prince William and Kate Middleton have been spotted at a number of pubs around the UK and it seems that there are certain things you will catch them always ordering.
The Duke and Duchess have caught several landlords’ attention over the years, spanning from before they were married all the way up to a cheeky date night. One thing that is quite interesting is the pair definitely have their refreshments and snacks of choice.
While living in Anglesey just after they tied the knot in 2011, the couple used to be regulars of the White Eagle in Rhoscolyn. They would go along to pub quiz nights and pop in for a meal during William’s time serving as a helicopter pilot for search and rescue services.

A staff member said of the couple’s food choices that William enjoyed “our homemade burgers and chips” while “Kate used to mostly order the” fish and salads. ” He also said that the prince was a bitter drinker, while Kate opted for white wine or sparkling water.
This seems to be similar to reports from other places they have eaten. At the Crown Inn in Norfolk, the couple were spotted on an impromptu date night. Kate was said to have eaten something light like a salad, while William opted for a heavier dish.
Kate was also said to have had sparkling water, showing that despite having become a Duchess and mother twice, old habits die hard. Their meal choice seems to be exactly what you expect as well, with the prince enjoying a meaty, hearty burger and Kate having something lighter.
