IF you consider yourself to be an avid Aldi shopper, there are some interesting details about the store you should probably know about.
There are two specific products sold on Aldi’s shelves that are a lot better than what you’ll be able to find anywhere else.
A YouTuber named Freebie Lady, aka Becky, loves sharing money-saving tips and store secrets about Aldi with her 36,100 subscribers.
In a helpful YouTube video she posted on February 9, 2022, she drops the inside scoop about two of her favorite items to purchase at Aldi.
In Becky’s opinion, the spices sold at Aldi are one of her favorite things to take home.
While showing off a bottle of her favorite spice, she says: “This, for example, is their bagel seasoning. It’s the exact same bagel seasoning you’ll find at Trader Joe’s, but it’s like a fourth of the cost. ”
She explains that a lot of the spices and seasonings at Aldi are made in the McCormick Factory.
The McCormick Factory launched in Baltimore back in 1889 and has been thriving ever since.
The second item Becky encourages her followers to purchase from Aldi is fresh produce.
She acknowledges the fact that fruits were not always the freshest from Aldi back in the day, but that’s simply not the case anymore.
She says: “Their produce is the same quality as others [name] brand stores, and even cooler – a lot of times I find the exact same products [I would find at a bigger, name-brand store.]”
The real reason Becky is so impressed by the produce offered at Aldi is that it’s in good condition and still totally affordable.
In her words, the fresh produce is priced at a fourth of the cost you’ll see listed at other grocery stores.
One YouTuber in her comment section wrote: “I have been shopping at Aldi for many years and have never been dissatisfied with the quality of their food or merchandise.”
Another user chimed in saying: “I have shopped at Aldi for over 30 years and like you, I absolutely love shopping there.”
The same user continued: “The employees are nice and helpful and I have gotten so many great deals there. We actually like most of their products better than name brands and the price difference is so much better! ”
Becky’s video has over 127,000 views on YouTube so far with over 5,000 likes.
Her commitment is coming from people who are likely very grateful for her insight about purchasing spices and produce during their next Aldi shopping spree.
