Leeds United are facing a crunch final matchday of the Premier League season this weekend as they travel to Brentford on Sunday afternoon [22 May].

The Whites will have their own fate in their hands should Burnley lose their game-in-hand against Aston Villa on Thursday evening [19 May]staying one point ahead.

Should Burnley get anything, Leeds will need to at least better their result to stay in the Premier League.

Jesse Marsch was handed a nightmare start to the job by Andrea Radrizzani, replacing Marcelo Bielsa at a time where all he could do was try and change the tactics.

It will not be the American to blame if Leeds do go down, it will be the Italian owner.

Spending no money in January must go down as one of the worst decisions we have ever seen in modern-day football, with our squad completely decimated by injuries.

How Radrizzani, along with Victor Orta believed a squad without Liam Cooper, Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford for months would be fine, is beyond us.

This is where the 49ers Enterprises come in.

Get him out.

It is time for the 49ers to exercise their right to complete their full takeover of the club.

The Americans do have the option to take 100% control of Leeds before 2024 for over £ 400million, although that figure may drop if we are relegated to the Championship [David Ornstein].

Radrizzani and his reputation will be saved by the skins of his teeth should we beat the drop on the final day, and he will be able to show his face around Elland Road in that case.

If we are relegated, he has to take the blame.

The 49ers can keep him away from Elland Road and not waste their time with him as they will be in a position where they need to fix the mess, both on and off the pitch.

It would start by losing key players and needing to rebuild the squad, but then plans to expand Elland Road would also be hit – the risk of not spending in January was too huge, and Radrizzani failed us all.

We have everything crossed that Leeds survive relegation and stay in the Premier League, but something tells us we are in for the most nervous few days.
