Council incumbent Melissa De Genova will seek re-election while Elaine Allan, Cinnamon Bhayani, Ken Charko, Mauro Francis and Arezo Zarrabian were also nominated.

The Non-Partisan Association has revealed it will field 10 candidates in this October’s municipal elections in Vancouver, including four for parks board.

NPA mayoral candidate John Coupar said council incumbent Melissa De Genova would seek re-election while Elaine Allan, Cinnamon Bhayani, Ken Charko, Mauro Francis and Arezo Zarrabian were also nominated.

Seeking parks board seats are incumbent Tricia Barker, plus Ray Goldenchild, Dave Pasin and Matt Pregent.

Vancouver council incumbent Jean Swanson will lead a team of nine Coalition of Progressive Electors candidates in the fall election (including council, parks board and school board)

Vision Vancouver (that spun-off from COPE in the early 2000s) has four council candidates, two park board candidates and six school board candidates.

ABC Vancouver has five candidates for council and one for mayor (Ken Sim).
