Looking for the best vegan food in Canberra? Here are seven (delicious) options.

We reached out to Canberra’s official guide to all things veganthe Canberra Vegan Guide—To recommend their top picks for vegan food from around town. And they did not disappoint.

Starting as an extension of the Sydney and Melbourne Vegan Guide, World Vegan Guide founder Renee Buckingham decided to tackle Canberra after she found herself visiting the capital more often. And luckily for us, she says Canberra is very vegan friendly.

But what do the Vegan Guide teams look for in the perfect vegan-friendly eatery and their dishes? According to Renee it’s about going beyond chia pudding and smashed avocado.

“For us it’s all about good vibes!” she says.

“In your face veggies does not work. It’s always the bestin our opinionwhen we just celebrate amazing food that happens to be vegan. We love diversity on the menu and genuine service. ”
