The Ontario Provincial Police have charged two separate people with stunt driving in Cambridge.
The OPP Highway Safety Division shared a tweet on social media saying a 22-year-old Cambridge male was stopped at Highway 401 and Roseville Road after being caught allegedly going 170 km / h. He was charged with stunt driving, speeding and careless driving, resulting in a 30-day license suspension and a 14-day vehicle impound.
The Cambridge OPP then stopped another driver traveling 186 km / h in the area of Highway 8 and King Road. The individual was charged with stunt driving. Their license has also been suspended for 30 days and their vehicle has been impounded for 14 days.
