Perched on the 11th floor of the Tower Apartments at The Bryanston — Almacantar’s new residential development in the heart of London—This three-bedroom apartment enjoys a position above everything else in London’s West End, with soaring southerly views out over Hyde Park.

The development represents renowned Uruguayan architect Rafael Viñoly’s first luxury residential building in the UK, and the latest completed project by prominent developer Almacantar.

The almost 3,000-square-foot unit is the second model, or show, apartment to launch at The Bryanston. It was designed by award-winning interior architecture practice David Collins Studio, with curation from Nick Vinson of Vinson & Co.

Custom study furniture by Simon Hasan includes a free-form desk and shelving unit, both of which have been crafted using European oak, antique brass detailing and iconic Bentley Green Connolly Vaumol leather.

The apartment’s interiors celebrate contemporary British design, including both established and emerging talent, many of whom are London-based artists, sculptors and craftspeople, according to listing agent Rupert des Forges. The result is an eye-catching, playful apartment which takes inspiration from the expansive environments of Hyde Park. The furnishings, which are included in the sale price, include vintage pieces and new specially commissioned works.

“Each room has its own color story that is realized across a multitude of materials,” said Ian Watson, founder of David Collins Studio. “From the sunburst yellow velvet mohair in the reception room to the cameo pink hallway showcasing a cast jesmonite floral relief in a tonal hue by British sculptor Lucy Smith, to the study trimmed with ‘Bentley’ green Connolly leather, and the ‘Shaded pigeon’ Loro Piana cashmere-wool wrapped principal bedroom. ”

The walls of the primary bedroom themselves have been upholstered in Loro Piana’s “Shaded Cloud” cashmere-wool fabric, along with the bedroom furniture and curtains.

Neighborhood Notes

The Bryanston is located directly on the northeast corner of the iconic Hyde Park, which encompasses 350 acres of green space — and at 16 stories tall, the Tower Apartments benefit from stunning, uninterrupted views across the park.

The development is a part of Almacantar’s wider Marble Arch Place master plan. Marble Arch Place was “previously an eyesore,” according to Mr. des Forges, but is undergoing a transformation by Rafael Viñoly into a mixed-use destination, set to offer a curated selection of dining, retail and leisure amenities, along with 95,000 square feet of premium office space. “The whole estate of Marble Arch Place is a gateway into Marylebone [and] the West End of London, ”Mr. des Forges said.

Being at the heart of London, residents of The Bryanston are also within walking distance of some of the best retail experiences in Europe, from upscale fashion boutiques like Chanel and Hermès and department stores like Selfridges, to the independent shops and renowned Michelin star restaurants of Marylebone and Mayfair. There is also a newly opened Nobu Hotel just around the corner on Portland Square — a chic, five-star hotel offering a range of luxury wellness and dining amenities.
